A Chosen Generation

There is a generation that will see the return of the Lord, a singled out generation, a chosen generation.
A generation that we are told would see the fulfillment of all things.

Mat.24:34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
God has told us a certain generation in a chapter about the End of this age and his coming

Matt. 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying,
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?
He wanted us to know and understand the generation or season in which we are to be his watchman.

Now the length or years of any generation is measured in the average years of the life span of a man .
As is true with any measurement it means nothing without parameters, a starting point. Remember God never gives us useless information.
If one does not know when the man/generation was born/begins you have no way to know how to calculate the length of his days/his generation.

So when did this CHOSEN GENERATION that would see his return begin when is was it born?
He actually tells us in a parable. (A type of riddle for those who have understanding) Further more its the only parable he tells us to learn:

Matt 24:32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near

This is about knowing and understanding when the seasons change When you see the new growth on a tree we know winter is over, spring has come, and summer is near ....

Israel is and has always been the only Fig tree nation then when this parable/riddle is applied to this nation it tells us
When the barren time is over and we see new growth begin again we are to understand the season of change /summer is near
Its this very generation that was born at the time the Fig Tree Nation was reborn that will see the fulfillment of all things ...

Israel was barren of Gods people for 1900 years then in May 1948 Israel was reborn as a nation it bloomed again. Spring had sprung for this tiny nation.
The Fig Tree nation put out its leaves on May 15,1948 ... This is when the generation spoken of was born/begin..
This then is our CHOSEN GENERATION starting point its here we start our count of days ...

The question then arises how long is this generation ? It can not go past the life span of the man born when it began,
or the word generation, would not apply .. Nor can one be both of his own generation and that of his off spring, child's generation.

Does scripture then give us the answer to this question? In a Psalm 90:10-13 we are given the life span of a man/generation

The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span is but toil and trouble;they are soon gone, and we fly away
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Return, O Lord! How long? Have pity on your servants!

If one has the wisdom the heart to see the span of a life, the length of a generation, is between 70 to 80 years.
Applying the words of wisdom here in the psalm to the birth of the Fig Tree Nation/generation
The chosen generation that was born in May 1948 is 73 years old as of May 2020..

We have about 7 years left to reach 80 years. No one knows the day or hour of the return of the Lord. I only point out it was God himself that gives us the season the time and duration of the CHOSEN GENERATION, a generation chosen to see these thing fulfilled to be watchman and know the times and the signs of his coming .
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away"

(* Note there are 3 timed generations mentioned in scripture 40 years, 70 years, 120 years, each has a purpose and meaning.
However the 70-80 life span of days given in the psalm is the only place we can find a timed generation tied to a promise of fulfillment in his coming.)
