Re: Not Sure?

grace is right. Maybe hopeful on some things, too. ;) The church thing has been interesting. Personally speaking, I fall into the mindset that churches probably should suspend in-person services. We know that the virus travels in groups and several outbreaks have been tracked back to one-off gatheri...

Re: Prayer Cover

You got it! I think prayers in general are needed for people working right now. A lot of folks are very uncertain because of layoffs and furloughs, but it seems like a lot of the people working also have much larger burdens due to staffing and restrictions. You'll make it, but praying for the refres...

Re: Sign of the Times on Temple Mount ?

Still been thinking about this one, grace.

Seems like this gets closer as the years pass by.

Re: Coronavirus

You are still doing better than we are in the states. 21,662 dead across the country, we've had the same amount of deaths (4) just in my county. I still think this is probably a little low given there are likely some home-based deaths that are not tested. Unfortunately, it looks like your deaths beg...

I have been praying for the PM since I heard this. Seems like a decent guy and a bit of an everyman!

Re: Haggai 2:11-14

This is something that hit home a few years ago for me from the Eastern branch of Christianity. While I cannot abide by a lot of Catholic doctrine, one thing I think they and the Orthodox (or at least portions of both branches) understand is that faith is a lot like skills we learn in our life. If y...

Well, we can be your place away from being home-bound by quarantine! :D

Not sure how appetizing that will be for signup, but hey, it's human contact that won't get you sick!

Re: Coronavirus

I'm upping my own prayer for this. Obviously the case count has gone up across the world since I first posted this. I continue to pray for the world leaders, national leaders and local leaders confronting this crisis. We are in a time where while all of us are not under major threat of dying, a sign...

How Do You Fight Bitterness? (Verses, Thoughts, Etc.)

I'm asking this as a sincere question for other Christians. How do you fight bitterness? I am not sure if there is a sentiment that others have, or if it's something more personal. There are hints that others feel similar, so I can't help but notice that. All I can say is that being "out in the worl...

Re: U.S. needs to prepare for Coronavirus

I saw a mortality chart, it looks bad for anyone over about 50. Even the 40-49 cohort does not do well relative to something like the flu. 50-59 1.3% 60-69 3.6% 70-79 8.0% 80+ 14.8% Everyone else is 0.2% with almost none for under 9. Thanks be to God it doesn't seem to hit the kids as hard. Seems hi...
